Dear Spirit of Cecilia readers,
I presume every once in a while you wonder where we got our name.
Well, two sources. First, St. Cecilia is the traditional patron saint of music and art. She’s often depicted playing a keyboard with angels dropping roses on her.
Second, though, and much more personally, I (Brad) had a daughter, Cecilia Rose, who passed away today, 19 year ago.
